Baby rash that won't go away!
Posted on: 13 Sep 2017

Ive used the creams from the Dr, the steroid creams also, a&d diaper rash ointment, and hydrocortisone cream. It has been there on both of my kids for the last 3 weeks! Idk what else i can do for them. If i dont use anything it gets worse. If i put something on it no matter what it is it gets to one stage and stops. (No im not using all these things at once.)

The first choice i do for a baby rash is put Vaseline on it then sprinkle corn starch on it and this usually will have it gone in no more than 24 hours but if its bad it could take a little longer. If that method does not work or work well enough you can burn some cooking flour and let it cool put it in what ever container you want to store it in. Put the vaseline on the rash and then sprinkle the flour on it. My grandparents use to do this for all the babies never used ointments. When the baby bathes i would let them air dry a few minutes as well if able to airing the rash out could help to but make sure your putting vaseline as to repel liquids from the rash.

I would try coconut oil. We use it for everything in our household! It's like magic and it's gone. Just rub it on them every time you change them.

I'm old school so all purpose flour or cornstarch. Put the flour in pan until it's brown than put it on the baby rash.

Use your breastmilk. It's pure magic. I use for everything. Scratches. Wounds. Rashes on my baby. I even use for myself. It's better thAn any meds or lotion out there.

Try using corn starch with the cream, the area must stay dry. If your children are almost potty trained, try leaving the pamper off for a hour, the more the rash gets air the better. My mom use to beat a egg white and put it on the rash, sounds crazy but it worked.
