When the Dog makes an accident. Have them sniff it and say no. Spray with no pee again bottles you can buy from the store. Keep the dog created at night until it knows and make a routine of going outside to go pee

Keep the door closed, pee pad, or change the carpet. Alot of times a dog or cat can smell the scent of another animal that has peed there, and will pee on it to make it there scent present

Get those potty pads from Walmart. The dog will smell the special scent in the middle of it and use it. Put the pad in the basement then show the dog to it.

Crate train the dog. Be consistent with taking the dog outside. Learn your dogs behaviors for signs he/she needs to potty.
